I have asked, and for those wondering: Rictor's post about having a plant that contains the spirit of a man is not a veiled reference to his new relationship with Shatterstar. Discussion around a sapient plant still makes no sense, but let's congratulate them both.

Oh thank god I thought we were about to find out Rictor was in a relationship with the plant man. Which like, is fine! Love is love. Is the plant man asexual?

But like I've written an entire fanfic in my head about Rictor and Star and if it didn't happen I was going to be SO SAD.
